Minutes from the September meeting were read and accepted.
Reviewed and signed 1 Motor Vehicle abatement and corresponding forms.
Reviewed, approved and signed 3 Personal Property abatements for FY2011.
All Real Estate abatement applications received to date (5) were briefly reviewed. One letter allowing continuation will be sent out until owner returns and interior inspections can be allowed. All others will be acted upon at the November meeting.
2 applications for Chapter 61B were received by the October 1st deadline for Fiscal Year 2012. One application was approved. The other application will be tabled until November pending answers from the DOR “Lawyer of the Day”.
The Board of Assessors has voted to change the date of next month’s meeting from Tuesday November 23rd to Monday November 22nd at 10:00 am
